The Methodist Church in Ireland - Dunkineely & Ardara Circuit

The Dunkineely and Ardara Circuit
is to be found in South West Donegal,
and consists of two Methodist Societies 20km apart.

Dunkineely Methodist Church lies in the centre of the village of Dunkineely at the base of St. John's Point.  It is on the main road from Donegal Town to the fishing port of Killybegs.

Ardara Methodist Church is near the top of the hill as you climb from the centre of this traditional village on the road to Glenties or Portnoo.  Close by are waves of the Atlantic Ocean.

The Manse, where Rev John Purdy and his wife Vanessa live, is situated in Dunkineely.
(They have a spider plant called 'Pineapple' and,
apart from that eccentricity, are very friendly!)
